I usually drink hojicha tea every day. However, after my supper, I had a strong desire to drink Sencha green tea. It was a strange feeling, and I couldn’t quite understand why. Then I recalled that I had eaten spicy meat for lunch, which is not typical for me. After enjoying two cups of Sencha tea, my thirst was quenched. Surprisingly, this didn’t happen when I drank Hojicha tea. I hadn’t previously noticed such a difference between Hojicha and Sencha, but my body seemed to react differently.

The saying goes, “When hungry, eat; when thirsty, drink.” However, our bodies often have more precise requirements to maintain balance. Perhaps it’s time to listen more attentively to the signals from my inner body.
